About Training With Us
The International Center for Positive Change and Hypnosis was founded in 2006 by Shawn and Sarah Carson and has been a part of the thriving Midtown Manhattan community ever since that time. Over the years we have offered NLP practitioner, master practitioner, and advanced master practitioner classes, hypnosis and hypnotherapy training, advanced coaching and hypnosis workshops, and corporate training in people reading, influence, and sales skills. In 2012 IPH welcomed trainer Jess Marion to the team. Since that time we have 3 full time trainers and a team of dedicated course assistants, all of whom are at the master practitioner and trainer levels.
We pride ourselves in offering the most comprehensive and professional training experience available. Which of course is balanced with a tremendous amount of fun and trance-formation.
Our classes are interactive and are designed so you get as much hands on experience as possible. Learning NLP and Hypnosis is about much more beyond skills acquisition. And you could unconscious be curious about what that means.
We are the only training center on the East Coast licensed by the IAPCH to teach the Conversational Hypnosis Professional Hypnotherapy Certification Program as designed by Igor Ledochowski.
We are certified as practitioners and/or trainers by the following organizations:
Thie International Network of Humanistic Neuro Linguistic Psychology
The International Association of Professional Conversational Hypnotists
Our center has two beautiful teaching spaces and office space where we see individual private clients. We maintain one of the most comprehensive libraries of books related to NLP, coaching and related fields with hundreds of titles. These are available to our students to borrow at no cost. We also have video and audio in the library.
We are conveniently located at 545 8th Avenue between 37 and 38 street in Manhattan. We are a few minutes walk from Penn Station, the PATH, the Port Authority bus station, most subway lines, and close to Grand Central either by walking or taking the Shuttle to Times Square.
